The 613 Laws of Moses were given from God to Israel in the books from Genesis to
Deuteronomy. But laws, in whatever number, may be given either from God or from man.
In contrast, God is the source of all grace, & because of God’s character that source of
grace is infinite. As a Principle, either Law or Grace becomes the defining spiritual
environment & reality in which a human being lives & interacts. Israel was to live under
the Laws of Moses & under the Principle of Law. The Church of Christ is to live
exclusively under the Principle of Grace. The chart shows a
number of critical contrasts between the Principle of Law & the Principle of Grace.
